Using the Album

These terms concern reading Satogaeri and using its memory-keeping prompts. The site offers editorial material, not a paid archive, storage promise or professional preservation service. You remain responsible for the originals and copies you keep.

Reading, copying and credit

You may use the prompts to make your own private memory book. A modest quotation with a clear source link is different from republishing a complete page or image collection. Copyright and other rights in text, photographs and recordings remain with their respective holders. Ask before reproducing material beyond what permission or applicable law allows.

Owning a physical photograph does not necessarily mean owning its copyright. A recipe’s written expression, a person’s voice and a family image can involve different permissions. Do not assume that material is free to publish because it is old, online or in a family box.

Notes and contributions

Use the contact form for genuine enquiries. Do not submit unlawful material, abusive messages, automated promotions or private records about someone else. An enquiry does not grant publication rights. Any later contribution needs a separate discussion about credit, editing, consent and permitted use.

Care with guidance

Prompts may need adapting to your circumstances. Do not rely on a remembered recipe for safe preservation or on a general album tip for a damaged original. The disclaimer explains these limits. Information can be incomplete or change, and availability is not guaranteed. Nothing here excludes rights or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
